2021 Festival Raffle

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

    1 for $20.00; 270 tickets
    3 for $50.00; 330 tickets

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: November 1, 2021 at 11:59:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw
    Raffle draw: November 2, 2021 at 12:00:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw will be held at Vancouver Writers Fest Office, 202-1398 Cartwright Street, Vancouver, BC, V6H3R8

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://vancouverwritersfest.rafflenexus.com/winners on November 2, 2021.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Vancouver Writers Fest.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Vancouver Writers Fest or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Vancouver Writers Fest does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Cause

The Vancouver Writers Fest is a leading cultural organization that celebrates diverse voices and engages in thought-provoking conversations through year-round events. This annual Festival raffle helps us connect K-12 students with inspiring authors, supports our free spring Incite conversations, and ensures accessibility to one of the most celebrated literary festivals in the world.

This year, we're protecting our audiences and authors by maintaining strict capacity limits. This means we're losing 50% of our usual revenue because we're leaving seats unsold. Raffle funds will also help offset this lost revenue and help ensure the public health and safety of our community of readers and writers!

Deadline: Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
Draws date: Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.
